The brutality of Mexican drug cartels rivals that of some Middle Eastern terrorist groups. Kidnappings, torture and the beheading of anyone who runs afoul of them makes them some of the most dangerous people in the world today. I believe that the recent Arizona immigration law is both unconstitutional and unfairly creates racial profiling and other discrimination against Latinos in the United States, but Mexico’s President Felipe Calderon’s criticism and ire is unfair.
