I Kno of a certain person who is about to find her/himself homeless. And her/his dogs.
So my trans female to male bonus "son", Bri/Logan has two dogs. They have destroyed my kids' toys. Mainly Bella. They terrorize my cats. They ate my cats' food. Squandered and destroyed my couches. I've caught them on my bed. Destroyed my yard. I'm not a dog person.
Bri/Logan is an irresponsible 21 year old TWAT. I have "him" the benefit of the doubt, to "rent" a car in MY name, so "he" could go road tripping with "his" fianceé's money. It's been two weeks.
"He" still has the car. He's been home since Friday.
I'm turning "him" in this morning. I WILL NOT be held responsible for "his" mistakes. I WILL NOT pay for them. I already paid ENOUGH THIS YEAR for "his" FATHER'S. Enterprise can come get the car. I have worked too hard for too long, and I will NOT go to jail AGAIN for someone else.
"His" great Dane eats 20 lbs of food a WEEK. EASILY. I don't know exactly how "he" plans to keep those dogs in food, cuz I WILL NOT buy food for them.
Anyway, yesterday was a turning point revelation! I went down to the career center to talk to my case manager, turn in paperwork from job hunting and get new papers. I had had two interviews the latter part of last week. One was for Sears (trolley ride, PT, temp/holiday, 8.60/hr, 15-20 hrs/wk). The other was for the DAV Thrift Store (10 min walk from home, FT, not sure on wages yet). So Michelle, my case manager, talks to Pierre, and Pierre called Megan, the assistant manager at the DAV.
Guess who was number one on her list of candidates?!
I was CRYING with joy! I couldn't be more blessed. I've put in over 300 applications in about 3 months or so.
For now, I'm working as a temp to hire through the career center. I had to go to their agent, Penmac, yesterday to fill out paperwork, drug test, etc. As if I wasn't gonna be concerned about the drug test...only real "drug" I consume is caffeine. Of course, I passed.
So I start today...or tomorrow. Most likely, tomorrow. Which gives me time to catch up on sleep, as I woke up at 3:30 and just couldn't go back to sleep.
Two cups of coffee later, and I'm yawning my head off already.
I finally had a date, of sorts, with E over the weekend. He came over, and we watched the first episode of Firefly. I like it. Never saw it prior. E is really a pretty nice guy, very soft spoken. He's also pretty expressive.
P came over yesterday, after I got the good news about work. We had a little fun on his lunch break; afterwards, I took a nap.
I have to get Axl ready for school, call Enterprise about the car.
