Jasper adjusted the rearview mirror of Seth's Jeep so he could see Seth and the handle of the baby carrier in the backseat. "All settled and ready to go home?" He questioned. Seth smiled at him before looking down at Luka, who was asleep in the carrier, a pacifier moving quickly between his lips.
"More than ready. Were you able to get the nursery freshened up Jazz?" Seth asked.
"I wasn't but Jacob, Edward, Leah and the kids took care of everything," Jasper assured him. "I'm sure we'll get home to a nearly completely renovated nursery."
Seth chuckled. "That is probably true." He reached out and stroked Luka's cheek. "Let's go home."

Jasper's assumption turned out to be correct. When they climbed the stairs to Luka's nursery and opened the door both were in a small state of shock. The room had been freshly painted, new sheets had been placed in the crib, and everything had been cleaned. "We really do have the best family," Seth murmured. Jasper nodded in agreement.
Seth entered the room and set the carrier on the changing table. The room had been painted a warm tan color with cream accents. Various bits of blue and green in the forms of stuffed animals were scattered about to give the room some different color. The border that had been around the top of the room before had been replaced and scenes of mythical animals and beasts, including wolves, ran around the ceiling of the room.
Seth unbuckled Luka and gently picked him up, settling him in his arms. Luka blinked but quickly fell back to sleep. Jasper came up beside him, his arm wrapping around Seth's waist. Seth sniffed and blinked back tears. This was one of the moments he had been dreaming of for years. Jasper's hand slipped away as Seth stepped over to the crib and lay Luka down on his back. He removed the hat that Esme had placed on his head and the blanket that had been wrapped around him. Jasper took the items from him before coming to stand beside Seth.
"Welcome home Luka," he said softly.
