Last night, Chris and I went with my sister A- to Chapeau! in the Outer Richmond. For a restaurant with this quality of ingredients, it was an amazing value (4 course menu for $45/person with wines starting at $15/bottle). In my mission to eat at home more and to get more green leafy veggies, I decided to try making palak (spinach) chicken last night. It came out so fabulously that I have to share. You could probably do the same thing with paneer instead of chicken:

I think I've inadvertently tuned my brain to tie malnutrution to academic progress. Something like "Hmm, I'm getting fed sugar-water and espresso. If I think, I get fed better food much sooner".

Whenever something is labeled a "New Mexican specialty", its likely to be covered in green chilies, specially oriented to provide maximum surface area for chilies, deep fried, or, even more commonly, all three.
