. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Made money playing with fire. Went to Portland Oregon and ate voodoo donuts at 3am in the rain. Rode a giant 22 foot glowing neon teeter- totter naked at moonrise in the desert. Raised a dragon. Changed my fuel filter by myself...correctly. Liked peppers.

2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didnt make any, didnt keep any. Even.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My brother and his wife popped me out a niece,Katy. She's very cute.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My friend Adam died unexpectedly. The orange and purple crab I bought died 3 days later.
5. What countries did you visit?
Black Rock City which contains many countries,universes and galaxies all in one
6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
MOre money is always good. Maybe a real boyfriend instead of make believe ones
7. What date(s) from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
Dates are too linear and tedious to recall, altho I could.
I will never forget Adam. I will never forget waking up to Ryan saying HIGH LOVE one morning in the desert and crawling into my tent. I will never forget how it felt to perform with fire and hoops professionally and get paid money and being good at it pretty quick. Road trips to Denver to get my God on with 16HP and Woven Hand. I will never forget the Sanctuary I experienced dancing, spinning, praying, loving, hating, crying, releasing, drinking and smokin in the girlsroom of an old church . Also, the full triple rainbow above Hawthorne St in Portland. Half Moon Bay. ANd of course, seeing Siouxsie finally...that whole night/trip to SF rocked....Fulsom St fair, Hardcore man bars,homegrown beauties, friends from everywhere and my first pair of Doc Martins. Oh yeah. Foot torture.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
somehow managing to keep afloat and alive
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to let go of things that are haunting me and be entirely ok alone.
10. Did you suffer any illness or injury?
Nope. I could have been catapulted across a city, but I was lucky. I did have 3 wisdom teeth ripped from my jawbone tho. Gotta love lortab.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I have made some amazing finds this year thrift shopping...the 4 pair of brand new capezio dance shoes at the DI for 3 bucks was extra special. Doc Martins too. Good god...am I actually happy about footwear??? Fuck...my twisted foot fetish evolves apparently!

Primarily, coke heads snorting my dance floor away from me.

gas food VOLKSWAGEN fire toys and fuel...traveling. music. traveling to see music

BUrning Man and the month that followed, the Arts Festival, Siouxsie in SF, seeing Travis again after a year in ALaska, new music

creative involved learning of how to airbrush and do ink in skin, real tattoos
traveling...still havent made it back to England...

I only celebrate the return of the sun on solstice morning...

nobody new, altho I have been aware of many new villains and evil doers

Tom Robbins. Herman Hesse. The story of O. Wicked by Gregory Maguire. Robert Anderson- WE, the psychology of romantic love. Very insightful.
27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
DeVotchka Stellastarr* Joi Oh, and how much I adore Nick Cave.
28. What did you want and get?
Good friends that love me. To travel.To play and be free and dance
with fire. and hula hoop. yeah.
29. What did you want and not get?
Undying love. HA.
I wanted someone to suffer in a karmic debt kinda way and she didnt much from what I can tell.
I wanted a NEW PRESIDENT and got lame ass war monger oil fucker instead.AGAIN, proving half of the country is lame.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was going out with a nice guy named Jeremy who took me to eat Indian food, then got me drunk in his hot tub with champagne and strawberrys, then some sexual chocolate. Quite nice actually! I am 33

Being free of regret,loss and lonliness

Fire. Dancing. Music. Ryan. sunshine and X

I like woody harrelson's take on things and Howard Dean also
36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The whole election this year was intensely sad and unsatisfying for me. # 3 made my skin crawl with the whole morality issue. Government shouldnt have anything to do with marriage anyway...marriage is widely defined as a "sacred" or "spiritual" union and ceremony,etc(puke) so, ultimately and historically, a religious affair. Gotta keep it seperated....remember that little blurb in the constitution about seperation of church and state?? Yeah, that!! among many other travesties.
37. Who did you miss?
I missed Matt the most. still. Fucked up as that seems. I miss Tad Clayton, my first love, also dead from hERION, like Adam, who I also miss. I miss Sanctuary very much and the death of a few fantasies that were born there...I miss the Zephyr club. I missed Travis and Ryan alot. I missed Grooveberry playing just for me, their 22 cow woman. No psychohellyeah extravaganza this year. I missed Judd and Scott and Fin and Watersong and Blaze and Kennedy Kinghorn and John Mittlestaedt and Muffin and Leah.
38. Who was the best new person you met?
Doctor Rupert, definately. I hope I find him again this year. I think I will :)

Playing with fire doesn't burn me!!!
