Sunday night while at work I came upon something rather odd. Not odd with work or anything of that sort, but odd in that way that brings out maternal panic mode. There is this community bulletin board in the hallway leading to the public bathrooms, where people post all sorts of things. Typically they are ads for things to sell; cars, services,

Funny how at work it's easy to freeze up when you want to tell someone off.. I totally know what you were feeling, searching for that scripted response that would represent the company. Usually this works, "No, that goes against the company's policy." If they persist: "and I will not compromise my job over this." Odds are they will call back and get someone else to break the rules, but your conscious is clear.
