All of my serious finals and the semester in general is over and my stress level is now in control. An update is now in order. Thats good though because I'm at the point of being so sick of school that I can hardly study and all I want to do is sleep. And read this dumb book I can't put down that my sister lent me about vampires. Its actually really embarrassing. The break with the beginning of track training and lots of time with Grant makes me :)
Last weekend some of the cross country team got to do this pretty intense Vo2 Max/Lactate Threshold test. Basically, we all became test subjects and ran on treadmills with oxygen masks, nose plugs, and heart rate monitors on. But then they also pricked our finger and drew blood every 3 minutes (while we were running) and then sped the treadmill up. The point was to go as long as possible while people in lab coats watched us like animals. It was oddly fun though and we get to do it again in February.
It's hard to believe how quickly Christmas is approaching. My grandma made me make a Christmas list but theres not much I really want so I asked for really lame things like art books, cds, and a PBS video on the Medici we watched last year.
My cat and I had a wrestling match last night in my bed. You see, HE came and lied in my bed ( which I am completely not used to because I hate that thing), so naturally I rolled on top of it a few times during the night without realizing it. "Cre" seemed annoyed and decided, for his own amusement, to lie on top of me a few times. Like previously stated, I hate the cat and did NOT find this humorous. I'd push him off and later roll back on top and we went back and forth like that most of the night. Everything I did just seemed to motivate it further. Stupid cat.
That was completely unnecessary but oddly therapeutic to write. I love Apollo more.
