Dothraki for Contemporary Times

Am very amused by this article that's currently the featured article on the homepage of the New York Times:

In 'Game of Thrones,' a Language to Make the World Feel Real

... which discusses the current trend of creating a new language for tv, film, etc. There are even examples of speaking certain modern phrases in Dothraki... (The one I'd likely use is probably "Is the F train running?" given that the F is part of my work commute.)

And there are even more contemporary examples on the Times blog as well: Want to say "His tweet offended his followers."? Well, now you can!

(And one day, I will get around to actually reading the series...)
