Damn Cupcakes & Yay Snow!
Well, from yesterdays blog you can see it was not a good day. Everything i tried doing didn't not want to go by way. The good thing though Lewis asked me to come eat dinner with him. I was kinda upset he didn't talk about what happened or anything. He just sat there and cuddled. But! It was a good thing. That's his way of saying sorry and he's over it. Took me a while to figure that one out. about him Boys! Well, then i go to look for the Zelda DS game for his birthday present. (Which is today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MY BOO BOO! I LOVE YOU! MWAH!) But i can not find the darn thing anywhere. I go 220 Walmart, the scary ValleyView Walmart (ALONE!), Best Buy, and lastly Target, where i finally find it!!! :) When i was getting the guy to open the case i was like, "Thank you! I have been looking for this thing everywhere!" He just giggled at me and was like, "Well, we have like a whole box so you are set." :) During that process i got materials i needed to bake Lewis some cupcakes for his birthday. My idea was to make them and ice them to look like pool balls. The plan failed!!!!
Reasons:
1. Momma's oven died last night. So, i couldn't do them at her house and surprise Lewis with them later.
2. I get home. I have no vegetable oil. Luckliy Lewis was close to home and he stopped by Kroger to get me some.
3. Only have 2 eggs at our house and we needed 3. I baked them anyway!
4. Icing i bought was not regular icing. It was the food coloring for white icing!!!!
Luckily, the cupcakes did bake fine and tasted YUMMY! But they had no icing and we just ate them right out of the baking sheet. I felt bad that my cool idea could not come to life and all he had for his birthday was some plain ole' cupcakes. He told me he didn't care about them. He just loved me making such an effort with all the problems i faced and how cute i was getting so upset about it all. Boys! You can hate them one second and then just fall completely back in love in another. :) But yah, we celebrated his birthday last night with cake and present opening.....
But we have tonight together too!!! YAY FOR SNOW AND ICE! He had his first day at the Ambulance place in Danville and had class tonight and i was supposed to work 5-9pm. So, we would not have got to see each other at all today. But! I'm snowed and iced in here and can't get out to work and his class was canceled! :) So, we have all whole afternoon and night together we didn't think we would. So, i'm a very happy girl. A total flip of what yesterday was. Thank goodness! I needed a good day! LoL
Well, i shall be off now. I have lots of cleaning and game playing to do. Lewis has got me addicted to that little "Toon Town" online kid game. It's actually realllllly fun. Main reason i like it so much? I can play it!!! Other games i suck at. But kids games? I'm so on it! LOL Later y'all.
