Do other people do this?

I'm pretty sure that most people have a distorted view of their own bodies.  Looking in the mirror they see someone who is smaller or larger than they actually are.  For myself, i think i tend to see my reflection as slightly skinnier than i am in person.  Being aware of this i often look to other sources to tell me how i look in real-life.  I've been known to put on clothes and set the timer on my camera in an attempt to see myself as the rest of the world does and if, in fact, this dress does make my ass look huge.

Another habit that i have (and maybe it's a bad one, you tell me) is that i spend a lot of time looking at other women's bodies and trying to determine if their body is similar to mine.  I'm not judging them, per se, but simply trying to see my own body from an outside perspective.  Occasionally i'll see someone who i think might look like me and i'll whisper to Silas, "does my body look like that girl?" to which he usually responds, "Your butt is smaller" or "Good God NO!" or "Your hips aren't quite that wide".  There have been a few times when he's looked harder and said "Her legs are little longer" (not difficult to do) or "She has a more defined waist".  I don't think there's ever been a time when he's said, "By Jove i think you've got it!"

I'm not about to jump to the conclusion that there i have no body twins out there.  Somewhere in this great big world there is another woman with abnormally short heavy legs attached to a pair of too wide hips.  With a decent waist considering her status as a mother and boobs that tend toward small thereby making her too-wide hips look even wider.  She's out there, somewhere.  And i'll just keep my eyes open until i find her and hope, that when i do, i think she's pretty damn hot.
