The day started early with making fruit leather from the fresh figs I got from a coworker this week.  Then, after a brief trip into town for library books, most of my day revolved around working in the garden.  I pulled out some spent summer crops for composting and planted more of the winter crops such as lettuce, snowpeas, and leeks.  I'm still ( Read more... )
