Breaking silence
It can be difficult to break a silence.
It seems a long while since I've written much here, and the more time goes by the more difficult it feels to make that next entry. So much has happened, so many different things I want to share or comment about. I had intentions of writing a summary post, just the highlights of events, but even as I turned that over in my mind it morphed into a mythological teal deer and grew beyond all comprehension. Scaling back my impulses, I'm just going to spin out some of the story-threads from the past few months while also trying to reflect on the currents of life carrying me onwards. It's on of the funny things about life- we're always in medias res. That's often troublesome for a contemplative-natured person like me, as sometimes I just want to pause everything so I can take it all in and reflect on it a while.
For now, perhaps the easiest way forward is this- to simply break the silence and then let the words come as they will.
