Hi. ...I'm not really sure what to say first- I feel somewhat guilty about abandoning LJ... but then again it looks like a lot of other people have also abandoned it in the past year or two. I understand- we grow up, we get a job, we have people IRL to spend time with, and any time left over we decide we'd rather spend on hobbies that we used to

You're trip is going to be AMAZING! I'm so glad that you decided to start using your LJ again.

I'm almost jealous of your freedom. Almost. I love the school I'm at, so I'm not feeling trapped (yet). The urge will hit soon enough, though. I'm hoping to do a semester abroad in Cairo within the next year or so.
