well, another year over in...19 minutes and counting. jeez. haven't done anything with myself this past year. is it getting too late? i haven't done much in a quarter of a century. hopefully i've influenced someone's life in a positive way. i'd like to make something positive to be remembered for. any suggestions ( Read more... )

Hey, no need to feel down. I mean, you may not have done much in quarter of a century, but really you're not even at the half-way point of your life in general - assuming you live to at least 60. Lots of time. And they say people get wiser as they get older, so anything you'll do in the far distant future is likely to be better and more thought out than anything you'd do now :P Just take a minute and enjoy. Have some cake.

Hooray for cake! Either the american style drenched-in-chocolate cake, or good ol' fashioned layer cake with strawberries and cream. Or! This marzipan-covered thing you can get from the store, we call it a Princess Cake. All appropriate for birthdays.

ah, the ever so tempting princess cake! had a piece last night. one piece never seems to be enough though. well, at least now, since i've vowed to lose some weight. my clothes are starting to get a wee bit tight...:(
