blahhhh
I had my 3rd interview at the Outback yesterday, got the job, but now I have to learn the entire menu, go back sometime next week to take a test (and get 90% or better), do 2 "classroom" days where they teach you everything, and then do 4 days of actual training with a server. THEN i can start making money. I don't know how many shifts I'll be scheduled since I'm pretty sure they have 1.32 bajillion servers, but if I can work a solid month and make $500/wk, I'll be golden. If not, I won't be golden, but at least I'll make a good dent in the ol' credit card. Whatevs.
It's a beautiful day, but I have no one to spend it with, except for my dog whom I just walked. I'm getting ready to go to the gym. I'm heading to Walmart and Sears this evening to do some shopping for Charleston and also (finally) get my grad. present from Mom- an iPod nano 8gb. I'm excited. I really wanted a green one, but they only come in 4gb. weird.
I pulled HP 6 out of the basement to re-read before the 7th comes out. I don't really remember anything from the 6th bc i read it so quickly and so long ago.
I can't wait to leave here. I'm still not too happy here, but things are getting slightly better. It's all about keeping myself busy. Benny and his sister still don't get along. They both have small but significant battle wounds, but he's a champ.
