Ok, self, here it is. You've been wallowing for quite long enough, my girl. Your parents would be utterly ashamed of you. You've made yourself miserable, you've lost a friend and probably hurt him badly, you're making your boyfriend nuts and you're being a passive-aggressive twit, even when you're trying to remind yourself of the good things in your life. Start counting your blessings before you alienate everyone in your life, you're well on your way to it.

Right, then. So. Blessings.
1) At least in waking hours, you know Ian was wrong about your talent. And everyone has a 3 o'clock in the morning. Get over it. Stay awake for a few days, if that's what it takes, crash at 7, and get yourself back on schedule, it's time to quit letting that one wake you up. Not to mention people reminding you that yes, you do have talent. Which is KIND.

2) People. Holy cats, do you have people. You have people you don't even know offering to lend you a shoulder. You have actual friends who aren't in your family, which is more than you had in Steventon, people you can confide in. People are very kind.

3) You're passing most of your classes and with a bit of application, you'll manage that last class.

4) You got the job at the Video Hole. Which means money. Which means maybe getting to eventually buy yourself a cheap electric guitar.

5) MONKEYS!

6) Music. I'm finding that I'm having tunes going through my head, ones that aren't written down yet. Will may have been right. I might be able to do this. And I've already chosen that for my final performance exam in classical guitar, I'm doing Classical Gas.

7) Time. This is the first semester. As Will reminded me, I've got time to figure things out. That's what I'm here for.

8) Hemi. Really, that's enough, right there.

In conclusion, no matter what, you've got good things in your life. Focus on them. And get over yourself. No. Seriously. Get over yourself.
