Gobble, gobble
Turkey-day was actually pretty fun today! We hung out with benji57's parents and sister, and babythunder and my parents. babythunder and I cooked a lot of stuff ... our first turkey! It all turned out great - and I ate WAY too much! Then we watched Miracle on 34th Street, which I had never seen before. We just sorta hung out ... I was all afraid that benji57's sister would be bored and whatnot, but it was fun! Now I'm spending the night, and we're watching Friends. Too bad their TiVo deleted all the other saved Friends episodes. :(
On the plus side, I started Marion Barber in FF, and he did great! My opponent has Julius Jones, Dallas' other running back, and he didn't do all that great. So ... yay for me. (and sorry thematrixhasu :) hehe
I also found out today that my friend's dad died yesterday. :( He was a friend I met while I was in Zambia, and his dad has been struggling with Burkitt's Lymphoma. He had been in remission for a while, but then relapsed ... and the chemo and radiation didn't work. They had wanted originally to do a bone marrow transplant, but his body wasn't strong enough. I didn't think he would go that quickly though. :( My friend is still in Zambia, and hasn't seen his dad since May. I feel so bad, though. I wish he had been home to be with his dad. And I wish I knew what to say and how to be supportive.
On the plus side, today I felt babythunder's baby moving around, hehe! She gets a lot more active at night, and tonight she was dancing around in there. :-D hee!
Should we go shopping on black Friday??
