Your thoughts are higher than mine
Your words are deeper than mine
Your love is stronger than mine
This is no sacrifice
Here's my life...

I'm sitting here in A's spare bedroom, leaning on at least 5 pillows piled on the bed, happy. She's at work, and I'm just hanging out at her house. I had been planning on hanging out with another girl today, but I ended up sleeping for a while - and I'm really treasuring the opportunity to read and relax. I hardly ever allow myself to do that at home, and I know I need to.

Yesterday I had to get up really early and go to the airport, which was a little annoying since I stayed up really late. So I slept on the plane to Atlanta. Then the plane to KC, the guy next to me talked .... and ended up giving me his number. Sometimes I don't understand why that always happens! :-P Oh well. Then J picked me up, and that was exciting! So nice to see him again. We went to A's work and picked her up, then went and had lunch. When she went back to work, J showed me their church. We got to talk to their youth pastor, whom I met in Zambia, so that was fun. He's fun to be around. Then we went to IHOP and just sat and prayed and read the Bible and stuff. It was nice to just sit and not be distracted by anything. :)

THEN we went to this restaurant where a bunch of people from their church were ... so I met a whole bunch of people. It was kinda funny, because you can tell that A has been talking about me. This one couple was like "Emily! We know all about you!" haha. It's a little weird to be just around all these people that all know each other, but I like it. They seem like nice people. We came back to A's house afterwards and just sat and talked. A few of their other friends came over too. I was really tired, though.

So that was my day. I'm really glad I'm here. I feel like the Lord is going to use this week to do some stuff in me, which is cool. And it's really fun to be with these people - who love Zambia just as much as I do. Being with them, looking at their Zambia pictures, makes me want to go back! And realize that I really did love being there. :-D

The rest of today I need to make a cake, heat up dinner, and then a bunch of people are coming over later to hang out. I think we might all go back to IHOP because Misty Edwards is playing from 10-midnight. Apparently she's amazing. :o) I hope it'll be fun!
