Just a few thoughts I had whilst drifting to sleep last night.
I usually mean to write them down, but i fell asleep to quickly, I'm surprised I was actually able to remember this morning!
I put "a warm place" on repeat last night and slept SO well.
I hadn't done that since I was 16.
Speaking of NIN and Trent Reznor, he produced Saul Williams new record "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust". If you're into hip/hop, it's a great record and it REEKS of NIN (obviously)- it's all around awesome.
I've been doing alot of thinking lately (scary right?!) use brayne 2 thinkx*&%@! I just feel it's time for me to evaluate my life, where i'm at, how i feel about it, do i need to make any changes?? These twenty something years sure are filled with uncertainty. Also.....Aidan's posts as of late regarding "Facebook", i've been looking at the laundry list of "friends" I seem to have accumulated over time and it's all a bit ridiculous. The vast and almost total majority are not my friends. They are people I havn't seen in years and am not likely to ever see other than the fleeting home page updates of relationship status, so and so beat so and so on some celebrity quiz, blah added the iLIKE application, or yadda yadda bit some dude and now he's a Zombie. WHAT THE FUCK.
Not to mention the big brother factor that has been on the rise since day one. I'm not entirely keen on the idea that my face can be used on advertisements, in fact it pretty much enrages me to the core. Everywhere you look there is some sort of advertisement. Whether it's on the InTrAnEtZ, billboards that line our streets, TV, the cinema, magazines...the list goes on. We are inindated everyday with this shit and I'm not willing to contribute.
Count me out.
