Big life decision
So, I'm thinking about deferring this year of uni to work and travel. It's a big decision, but the big problem is that I dont like my course, so I'm getting really frustrated trying to go and make it work.
I just had a big chat to my sister about it. The biggest worry is the possibility of not coming back to it if I leave it. But I think a bigger worry is getting too burnt out on it, feeling like I'm wasting time in a degree I dont enjoy.
I'm only barely 21, I've got time to play and figure out what I'm doing.
I am VERY scared to leave uni, sorta worried that I won't follow through with my plans, but I'm also really scared I'll fuck up this year if I stay.
I'm also scared shitless of my parents and what they're going to say. But I've been living what I think they want me to do for the last 21 years, probably time to shake 'em up a little.
If I travel, I'll be over in Seattle at the end of the year! Yay!
I think I really need to get out for now and try some new jobs, dabble, play, have fun and enjoy being 21. Spending a few months traveling would be awesome.
