Stupid trees...grrrr
Yeah! Allergies are getting better! New pills are ACTUALLY working. Happily this means I might of escaped getting a sinus infection. I might not of escaped an ear infection though. I really should find out what those type of trees that I am so horribly allergic to are. I am usually okay with a minor allergy pill...except when those trees bloom. And silly me forgot about them. Went out Sunday, had the windows down in the car driving around where a bunch of them are. Oops.
It oddly feels like a lot more time has gone by. I feel like it should be Friday...not Wednesday. Ah well. This is good. I have a lot to get done. Such as job search, re-doing my resume (AGAIN), and looking into some programs I might qualify for. Since it was a health issue that caused me to loose my job & it's not something that is going away (meaning I can no longer do that type of work) I might get some additional assistance for retraining. And some for health care since I am also without health insurance. I have some additional issues caused by the 6 months of being on pain killers. My migraines no longer respond to the over-the-counter medicine. Joy.
Hopefully, I can take care of this tomorrow. Then I might do a little sewing. I've got everything set up. Just need to finish the capes I had started before the pain got too bad last year. Thinking about finding the blue stretch velvet & making a dress with it. Use what I learned with the green one & applying it to this one. Like making the simple gowns, I don't have to worry so much with them. And accessorizing them is fun. The more complex costumes, I tend to worry about while wearing. Afraid of ruining them after working so long on them before I really get to wear it. (It happened & 1st time I wore it too. Made me paranoid.) It would be good practice too. Something that would be good before I go back to finish Karla.
Then I might just randomly work on stuff to go through all the fabric. There's some major projects I want to work on but...I am not sure WHERE the fabric IS. This is what happens when I reorganize. I know I have it...I just am not sure what I did. I swore I kept it all together but...it's not. *sigh* I should also figure out where I stuck the wig that's to be used in making Karla's wig. Then figure out HOW to make it. (LOL) I've got some ideas, but it is going to be tricky.
