So, since Friday was one of the days during which Rory had no classes, she decided to sleep in nice and late, and then give her room a thorough cleaning.
(Which, yes, she had done about two weeks prior. It's Rory. The room will never be clean enough.)
From under her bed she found a book from the library, which she supposed had fallen when she'd dozed off while reading one night. She set it aside, making a note to return that - best not to set a bad example when she was actually
training new aides. Though really, her latest experiences in the library had mainly consisted of
semi-deep talks with Angela.
When Rory found a small box of cookies beside her fridge, she thought back to her conversation with
Peter the night before. Of course, that led to thinking of the
other conversation she'd had, and that of course led to her shifting her attention from cleaning to looking for a Homecoming dress online.
The door, however, was cracked open the whole time.
[Open, now that I'm home and can actually respond in a timely fashion yay!]
