Rory hadn't quite wanted to think about what had been lurking in the back of her mind since her talk with Luke which is still being played out omg, but when she returned to her room and was alone, she kind of had to think about it

After spending most of the day trying to make Friday go away -- and deciding that, nope, the day still existed -- Angela decided to check on Rory and see how she was doing and, hopefully, at least make her laugh.
Which is what she was doing as she tapped on Rory's doorframe. "Rory? It's Angela."
Angela stepped in a little hesitantly, closing the door most of the way after her.
She decided to start by talking about the least important thing as she took a seat on the floor near Rory's bed. "Hi. So did you hear I'm now an official member of the gremlin bite club?"
"Nothing too exciting because I kind of ran out of time," Angela said. "I thought I was my friend Rayanne. Spent a lot of time trying to find booze in the common room. I think I hit on your best friend hair-boy. Oh, and I tried on Joxer's helmet. And I think I made a date with Alec. And convinced Nadia Santos I was completely insane or callous or something."
She rolled her eyes. "Radio was interesting for me this morning."
"Not unless you count weetiny weekend, which I wouldn't," Angela agreed. "I think I still have one of your drawings somewhere. So yeah, could have been worse." She made a face. "It was hiding in Sydney's old dresser. Should I ask for a new room?"
"Not with all the new kids coming in. You'll end up with a roommate," Rory pointed out. "And there's nothing wrong with the new kids, but I didn't really like having a flaky one."
"Anya or Summer?," Angela asked. "At least yours wasn't pregnant and the principal's daughter. I still don't know what Bristow did with her -- kind of scary."
Rory flinched a tiny bit at the emphasized word, but replied, "Both of them, really. Summer left too soon to tell, but Anya was weird. I like sharing my room with just a dog, yeah. And a turtle, now."
"The comlink's broken, so no I haven't. And Yoda's mine now, yes," Rory said quietly, gesturing over at Yoda's tank on her desk.
She bit her lip, and added, "Also, Anakin's son from the future is here. And he says his father is dead. Want a cup of coffee or some water or anything?"

"You got Yoda?," she asked, voice brightening as she looked around the room for the tank. "Have you heard from...?" She let her voice trail off.

"Um. No, thanks, I'm ... not thirsty," she finally got out. "That's ... wow. Are you okay? Relatively, because of course you aren't OKAY, but..."
And then she just flailed.

It didn't seem likely for a Jedi, but Angela was clinging to hope.
