Room 213 - NFB [evening]

Rory sat on her bed, examining the brown-wrapped package that had come for her from Stars Hollow.

The enclosed note read:

Anakin pouted for a moment. "Tie?" he finally suggested.

Rory sighed melodramatically. "I suppose that would work," she said, the corners of her mouth tugging upwards.

"Good," Anakin said, giving her a small smile. "So, more sugar and then a rematch?"

[auroryborealis]

Rory scooted over and pulled out a bunch of Pixy Stix. "Have some sugar."

She dug around a little more. "We have lots of sour candy. I wonder why that's more evil."

[emo_padawan]

"More evil?" Anakin asked, pausing in the middle of pouring three Pixy Stix into his mouth.

[auroryborealis]

"Than chocolate or something," Rory elaborated. "It's the only kind of candy she sent me."

She paused, and stared at him. "You are going to give yourself such a sugar high."

[emo_padawan]

"But I won't be stupid and call Obi-Wan if I'm just eating sugar," Anakin pointed out. "Besides, it's been months since I've had a Twinkie."

"I probably have some of those around here," she said thoughtfully. "I just don't want you to be all bouncy and unable to sleep until like five AM."

Anakin raised an eyebrow. "I don't bounce."

[auroryborealis]

"Yet," Rory said.

[emo_padawan]

"Ever," Anakin said, ignoring his reaction to anything new that he might get an chance to fly.

[auroryborealis]

"You bounced at my car," Rory pointed out, popping something green into her mouth and puckering slightly.

[emo_padawan]

Anakin stole a kiss--the pucker was just too cute not to take advantage of--and said, "Nuh-uh."

"Yeah huh," Rory replied, smiling affectionately at him.
