Room 213 - NFB [evening]

Rory sat on her bed, examining the brown-wrapped package that had come for her from Stars Hollow.

The enclosed note read:

"Pardon my reach," Anakin said, leaning across her with a smile, then flicking the spinner. "Um," he said, squinting at it, "right hand on green."

Rory bit her lip and slid her hand over, ducking her head a little and dropping her torso closer to the mat to move under him a little.

"'Scuse me," she said demurely, flicking a toe over the spinner. "Right foot on yellow."

Anakin was beginning to understand the appeal of this game as he wriggled his way around Rory to put his foot in the correct location. He gave the spinner a Force-nudge. "Left foot red."

Oh, noes. Rory had to maneuver a bit more underneath him to manage that one.

She pushed herself up against him to steady herself a little, though. That, of course, could only make everything much better. She nudged the spinner. "Right hand blue."

Anakin gave a little frustrated grunt as he twisted to reach the dot. Huh. It had him straddling Rory. Interesting development.

"Hi," he said, smiling down at her and completely forgetting to spin.

"Hi," Rory said, blushing dark. "You're supposed to spin. And no trying to distract me so I'll fall!"

"Sorry," Anakin said, not looking at all sorry. He flicked the spinner. "Right hand blue."

Rory raised an eyebrow, and moved to cover his hand with her own. She flicked the spinner. "Left foot yellow."

Anakin slid his foot to the dot, dropping him a little closer to Rory. "You did that on purpose," he said, eyes twinkling.

He spun the wheel. "Right foot green," he said.

Rory obediently moved her foot, pressing herself up a little more towards Anakin.

"On purpose? Me? Never," she whispered, lightly nuzzling his neck because she could.

Sure, it was against the rules she'd just told him. So?

"Oh, and, um...left hand on red."

Anakin moved his hand to a different red dot and stole a quick kiss.

Sneaky Jedi.

"Left hand yellow," he said like nothing had happened.

Rory bit her lip and moved her hand, wobbling slightly.

When she was steady, she kicked at the spinner. "Right foot blue," she said casually before kissing his neck in earnest.

"Cheater," Anakin gasped, moving his foot and just managing not to topple over.

"Right hand green," he said, nipping at her ear.

"Look who's talking," Rory whispered, moving her hand and wavering. "Um. Left foot yellow." She went back to kissing his neck, nipping a little at the underside of his jaw.
