"Bridgey modified it so it makes waffles," Rory explained, gesturing to her skooshy inflatable chair should Aeryn want to sit. "But they were getting burnt. Alec fixed it, yay."

Aeryn does take a seat, looking a little alarmed when she sits down. "I'd prefer that to the toaster," she decides.

"My computer doesn't speak in horrifying couplets, no," Rory said, nodding. "So, anyone giving you a hard time about Sunday? And want a waffle? I could totally make some."

"Are they any different from a computer?" she wonders, and shakes her head. "It hasn't been bad. Bridge came by to tell me it never would have worked out between us, but I haven't really seen anyone, either."

Aeryn winces a little. "I told him the princess was supposed to marry the hero post-rescue. I have no idea how these ideas got into my head."

"That's because he's John," she points out. "Greg was by last night, and they built a fort. I didn't stay."

"Smart move," Rory decided. "Though the last time I went to the gym I ran into someone who I embarrassed myself in front of, so...."
