After spending the evening in her room actually reading and doing some SAT practice work, Rory eyed the notepad she had picked up last night. Because I like doing linkdrops like this, omg, and it's canon.
Feeling, once again, supremely silly, but remembering how much better she had felt the night before, she grabbed her pen, and began to
write.
A -
Am bored again, and still a dork.
Shut up.
Today I went to the
the gym to fence a bit - because goddamnit, you're coming back and you're teaching me how to use a damn lightsaber and those are probably only a little heavier than an epee - and met a few guys named
Joxer, who had armor like Cal, kinda? and
494 who stole a motorcycle. Which is bad, and all? But it was so sad - he ran away from this MILITARY CAMP where they stuck him because he's a ward of the state! Poor thing. And I didn't ogle him, no matter what the damn radio said omg.
While there, I talked to
Cam about some issues I'm sure will be resolved by the time you're back. Which clearly wasn't today, so maybe it'll be tomorrow. Though I doubt Cam and Molly will have their act together by then, either. Oh, do you even know about them? Oh, you're going to be mad when you come back and find out. Please to not be beating up Cam. Logan already did. Anyway. Will probably catch you up on this verbally and my hand is starting to cramp up, so WTFever.
Also talked to
Cedric about his old school and our names. Don't you think Cedric is a cool name? Much better than Rory. Yes. I decided this today.
And I signed up for a some
workshops - you're listed as teaching Flying, so you have to be coming back. I signed up for your thing.
...which, if when you're reading this, you'll already know, but whatever. I'm recapping and I'm on a roll. Though, sadly, am running out of stuff to recap.
Yoda totally misses you. That is a look of pining on his wee turtle face. I know these things. He's totally sitting in his tank composing the kind of deeply moving emo poetry that only an amphibian can write. In a matter of days, he'll start painting his scales black, to match his woe.
I, on the other hand, will continue to miss you in a normal fashion, which involves actually going out and being social. And sleeping about three hours total last night, but whatever, I'm not splitting hairs with you in a letter. Be happy I got that much.
Here's hoping you're back tomorrow and all in one piece.
