Review of Lost 6.10 - 'The Package'
Um, wow. This episode. Is there really anything to say? I sort of hated it from start to finish. Here were the things that gave me small flashes of enjoyment:
1. Ben was in it! The Ben/Sun shipper in my squeeed.
2. Keamy was deliciously horrible, as always.
3. MIKHAIL!!!!!!!! Oh, it was so good to see you. I just wish you'd not died. But I suppose just because Mikhail gets shot in the eye doesn't mean he's been killed, does it?
And that was pretty much it. Otherwise 'The Package' had a bunch of elements that I hated from episodes past, all combined into one monstrosity.
1. Sun/Jin flashback/forward/sideways
2. Character can't talk
3. Character can communicate by writing!
4. Sun and Jin can't speak English
5. Zombie Sayid
6. Flash sideways appears to have zero bearing on island story
7. Flash sideways cameos are awesome if you don't think about them too much
