My POS system was down all day (instead of just 4 hours) yesterday.  It's still down today.  So, when it finally gets back up and running I will have an entire day's worth of tickets to ring up, close the register, run reports and post before I can even begin today ( Read more... )

So, my computer is fixed.  I am free of the iMac at home!!!!!!

*insert happy dance*

And they said the lightning hit didn't mess with my hard drive, which means my blog photos I have taken and loaded into my computer, but erased from my camera, should be okay.  I won't check it until I get home, cause it's ( Read more... )

GAH! While I am thrilled to have internet access at home, yes I got a new modem and router...I am using one of Byron's iMac's. I hate it. I can't get on aim or find my buddy list; I finally figured out I could plug in my pc mouse to scroll; I hate the screen.

Whine...whine...whine.

I'm in internet hell at home.

On Tuesday night there was a horrific thunderstorm that rolled through the area.  There was a lightning strike so close to the house that the percussion actually hurt my left eardrum and my deaf dogs were startled.  My computer blipped off, but I thought that was from the power flicker.
