dvd commentaries
So, I started up a new feature at sg1_solutions, which is recapping/reviewing the episode commentaries for the SG1 dvds. aizjanika and I used to do them back in the day for S8 on TWoP (and I may enlist her permission to snerch hers from the forum when I get to S8).
I know I transcribe episodes, but there are *limits* to my anal retentiveness, especially when it relates to Gary Jones PACE card. But there's also a lot of nifty nuggets in these things too, so I think it would be cool to highlight them.
Snark factor may be optional depending on my mood and/or how interesting the commentary is.
Small Victories is first. It was actually pretty cool and my first one, so I went into more detail (summarizing their technobabble as technobabble though) and just a few aside comments.
Who knows how often I'll do them. I'd like to try it weekly, but I wouldn't want to promise that and not deliver.
