I have a job!!! :)
Yesterday, I had an interview with a local environmental testing company. I went into the interview and chatted with the woman doing the hiring, took a tour of the facility, and at the end of everything she offered me a job as their full-time laboratory assistant. The job entails a whole lot of organization and maintenance, along with keeping their stocks of critters alive. I'm easily qualified for it and, though the pay's not great, it looks like it will be stable and have plenty of room for growth. I'm pleased.
