It's cold outside.
Today was a good day at work. I felt like I accomplished almost all the things I wanted to. I also discovered the perfect gift for my brother! I am so excited. I found part of it online and then the rest of what should go with it just popped into my mind. I also heard a song that I liked and I thought was relevant to my mother and I, so I bought her the CD in addition to the Starbuck's gift certificate that she wanted. I bought Max 2 games he wanted for his Gameboy, Connect Four (which I know he loves), and a pair of high top converse sneakers. I love those shoes so much but my feet look HUGE in them. I had a pair of low top blue satin converse sneakers that I wore until they literally fell apart at the seams. It wasn't hard to do because at the time I was using my motorcycle as my primary source of transportation.
My daughter is so hard to shop for because she has everything. I found an outfit I liked but they didn't have it in her size. It might have been easier if I hadn't been shopping with my brother. We considered buying Max the Robo-Reptile that he wanted last year but we decided that he would probably lose interest in it. Cameron ended up getting him the Lego Star Wars game for his Gameboy instead.
Speaking of Gameboys, I remember when the first one came out. We were so thrilled. We had all of the freakish attachments too. Like the giant add on speakers. I have a picture of me holding this thing and to look back at it now just makes me laugh.
