This isn't a great photo, but the neighbour's old magnolia tree is in full bloom - one of my favourite trees!
Also, another classic Leon shot: where's his head? Under Gaia's belly somewhere... (It's like Where's Wally!)
It's been getting warmer and our herb and veggie garden is coming along. The seeds are really sprouting! They've started selling seedling of herbs too so we've put a few of those in. And yesterday on the way home from the shops we picked up a wicker rocking chair that someone had put out on the curb, so now we can sit and rock and gaze at our lettuce and chives!
First day of the internship today. I don't have to be there until 2.30 p.m. Makes a nice change from those 5.30 a.m. starts!! I won't get home till late though. It'll be a relatively stress-free internship, and quite fun we're hoping too - my problem is not to feel guilty about that. I always feel like I shouldn't be allowed to enjoy myself.
We watched Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist on the weekend - it was funny (and reminded me that I have the book and should read it), and doesn't Kat Dennings (Norah) look a lot like Liv Tyler? Bet she gets that a lot.
I really need some new music. I'm so tired of my CDs. I never hear any new stuff though - no Triple J here, though there is an internet, commercial-free radio station that plays cool stuff ... somewhere on the net. Can never remember what it's called. But isn't it annoying how radio stations hardly ever tell you what the name of the song was or who sang it?
