Cut Down: Rosiel… is a bit hard to cut down. He is the Inorganic Angel, one of the strongest of all angels, far above mere mortals. He’ll still have three wings (retractable), signifying him as a high-ranking angel, and will still exist basically out of wires, which is his fundamental core. However, he’ll not have the kind of powers he used to possess, which will ironically also slow down, if not stabilize his decline in both mind and body.

History;
Rosiel was created alongside of Alexiel, as a shared power capable of reaching to the heights of Adam Kadamon’s power, God’s most powerful creation. Although created from the same source, Adam Kadamon, these two siblings are opposites in all possible ways; male and female, inorganic and organic, creation and destruction.
But also gorgeousness and hideousness. Alexiel was made truly beautiful, but Rosiel’s life seemed over before it’d ended; his body was rotting, deteriorating though it was designed to regress in age, and grow younger. He looked like a monster, but was hidden from this knowledge with the aid of bandages and his maids. However, once he became aware of the fact that he wasn’t what the beautiful Alexiel’s twin should look like, he became obsessed with his looks, wanting to be recognized by Alexiel as an equal, loved as her brother like Rosiel loved her as a sister.
However, God insisted Alexiel had to keep out of Rosiel’s way; Alexiel had to never see or approach Rosiel. Alexiel, though resentful that Rosiel held the love of God in a way she never had, loved Rosiel more, and stayed out of Rosiel’s reach, joining the rebellion against the angels during this time. Rosiel, now beautiful, proud, and the light of all angels, possessing a high function in Heaven, saw this as a betrayal against him and more proof that Alexiel hated him.
In his golden years, Rosiel presented a Gurigol - the lowest form of angels, those without a voice or a soul, and presented it with a body, and a name; Katan. Katan grew up, wanting nothing more than to please the person who had given him everything.
Rosiel found out that his body was still deteriorating, rotting away, but this time, it was actually because he was aging backwards. With his age, his sanity also decreased, and he begged his sister to kill him before he would lose his mind, not wanting to see that happening. He extracted a promise from his sister, begging her to kill him before he topped over insanity’s edge. However, the side of the demons lost the war, and Alexiel was cursed to be reincarnated indefinitely as a human.
However, instead of killing her brother, she banished him on Assiah, frozen in an eternal sleep.
Thousands of years later, Katan managed to find Rosiel and bring him back using human sacrifices, despite knowing Rosiel was insane. Rosiel wants to kill Setsuna, the human boy who houses Alexiel’s spirit in this time. He wants to bring Alexiel to the light, and wishes to prove to her that he is the one who loves her the most. Eventually, he returns to Aztiluth and regains his old power, but sits back and enjoys watching the structure of power crumble around him, not caring about any of Heaven, just Alexiel.
Personality-wise, Rosiel is, quite simply put, insane. He has fleeting moments of sanity and remorse, but those are few and far inbetween. Instead, he revels in it as he revels in his power, his status, and his beauty, and takes pleasure in using these aspects into manipulating other people as his puppets, at times quite literally so. Even those who care for him and love him despite his behaviour are not spared from his ways, and he betrays them with the same lack of remorse he shows other people.
This shows his underlying insecurity issues; he trusts nobody, not even Katan. His mind has become so warped from having been denied the love and acceptance he had craved so much for all his life, and in combination with the knowledge that his body is rotting from the inside whereas everyone sees him as this beautiful, perfect example of what an angel should be like, that he feels as if he can only trust himself. He seeks approval in the sense of asking people if he is truly beautiful, because to Rosiel, being beautiful means being the person he thinks his sister will accept.
Despite these trust issues, Rosiel has pushed these issues away and doesn’t allow anyone to make him feel less than flawless. He is sadistic, and enjoys plotting and creating the downfall of people. He rarely actively seeks out to hurt people, and much prefers turning other people into his slaves to do his dirty work for him.
