Still not much happening here......
The kids did get their report cards this week - excellent reports for both of them. The only thing negative said about Tynan is that he doesn't like to speak out in class. To me, that's just who he is. I'm ok with it. They also said Eileen's writing is sometimes a little untidy. I think she does amazingly well given that she is left-handed and dyslexic. She works really hard. I'm proud of both of them.
Fabricville had simplicity patterns on sale for 5 for $5. I'm going to make myself some summer clothes that fit. I have someone to help me pin and adjust fit. I haven't lost any weight the past few weeks, still stuck at size 16. Time to buckle down and get some exercising done. My right heal really hurts most days - the heal spurs are still really painful, especially when I get up in the morning. Time to visit the doc I suppose and get soem orthotics maybe - and some really well fitting shoes.
I saw pictures of my new niece or nephew. My sister had a live webcast of her 3D ultrasound. The detail was amazing! Already a very cute little face. Still don't know what sex - my sister wants the surprise so they avoided that area all together. I did count 10 fingers and 10 toes though.
Time to start booking flights for my trip to Nfld this summer - I think we are going for all of July, as soon as they get out of school. Tynan's best friend has his birthday in August, as does Eileen's. I know my family is going to want the kids to stay longer, we do love them, but our lives are here now. It was different when we lived here before - I didn't have to have them back in time to start school.
ANy day now I will get my Byzantine garb on the go. I have lovely fabric, really beautiful! Afraid to put scissors to it! They had slits for neckholes, that's my main concern with wearing Byzantine - I fear I shall feel as if I am being strangled.
