The subject, in case you were wondering, was my initial reaction to being told about the differing factor between Stephanie Meyer's vampires and the more...common theory about sunlight and undead blood suckers

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to head down to the one lone bookstore in town that would have the others, so I downloaded them on audio book. I'm currently working my way through New Moon, but it's hard, because audio books are so slow for me. And I can only take so many spoken adjectives.
I do, though, plan on picking them up next time I head in to Park Royal. Then again, I think ninety percent of the girls at work under eighteen have read them, loved them, and cried over them. I might just borrow them from one of them.
Yeah, I haven't read the books... but the movie was a lot better than I was expecting. Sparkly vampires are odd, but you get used to the concept pretty fast.
LOL. I was like you. I needed something to read while waiting for a Dr. appointment and a girl I work with liked them. I picked up Twilight, read it in a night, and promptly went out and bought the other three books. They aren't epically entertaining, but they were like a trainwreck. I couldn't put them down. Read all 4 in a week. Its good mindless reading that isn't law. But, I will say I was epically dissapointed in the ending. Good luck in your trainwreck adventures, sparkling is just the beginning... ;)
Oh, yes. Like I said, I went to the author's website and checked out the blurbs of the other books to see if I would be interested, and needless to say...oi. I currently have all the rest on audio book, so I'm gonna be listening to them whenever I get a chance. The only problem with an audio book is that it takes SO long to get through the story! Me like reading!
(Oh, and him leaving because she got a fucking paper cut? Heh. I still laugh over that.)

But sparkly vampires. C'mon! They're supposed to be so drop dead gorgeous, so let's make them prettier by making them SPARKLE?!
