So fickle
I find as soon as I finished writing something I'm pretty proud of it...but a few weeks or months pass and well I'm not anymore. I'm all meh about it, maybe it has lost it's spark or maybe it's because my writing has improved and therefore my past work sounds bad to me now. I don't really know why but either way I find myself pushing my work to get published and out there as soon as possible, even if I'm not as proud of it anymore, because I know the longer I wait, the more I'm going to dislike my work ><
Is this common for other artists?
*sigh*
In other news Mute is about 90% edited and will be coming out soon. It's a good story and I should be saying the best things I can about it, but I admit my writing has improved a LOT since I wrote the book so I'm not really that proud of it now.
So yeah... exciting to have something out for the world to see though :)
