Old movie houses are dear to me, filled with memories and dreams. The design and decor sing out.

The conference was smaller than others, but I enjoyed it. Perhaps we have a few mutual acquaintances?

Joyce Mudd, Cathy Miller?

Yes, I know both of them. I saw Cathy, but not Joyce. I own two of Joyce Mudd's sculptures. I met her at the first fat conference I attended, a women's gathering in the S.F. Bay Area in the mid-nineties. I've bought clothing from Cathy when she was running Big On Batik.

I know them both quite well though I haven't seen them in a while. I met Joyce when we were both in an art exhibit in Pasadena back in 2000 I think. She introduced me to Cathy. Done business and bartered with my art for theirs, clothing, fabric and such. In fact, I Still have one more piece to make for Cathy.
