things fall apart
The last time i posted was in September, 2018. i had just installed an electronic doorbell at my front gate. it worked pretty well for several months. then it stopped. we took great effort to install a new battery. it worked once or twice. now it doesn't. it is not the only thing that is falling apart around here. we got a new clothes washer/dryer in october, and the dryer stopped working. it needed a new part. we had to wait for the new part to arrive. after it arrived, via ups, another repairman came to the house. he said it needed a couple more parts. he was scheduled to come back few days later. he called to say he was coming, but the parts had not arrived. they got here later that afternoon, but the repairman had already scheduled his next visit for later in the week. he returned, and i'm happy to say that my clothes are dry at last.
