it's been too hot!
my friends have been growing vegetables, but i'm just trying to keep one plant alive. This is the Brugmansia i grew from a cutting from a plant by the old jail. earlier in the year, it bloomed for the first time. now we are struggling. it droops like this when it starts to dry out. if i don't water it right away, it droops even more, and leaves begin to fall. The faucet is buried under shrubs and dirts, so i water by hand with water from the house. i mostly use leftover dishwashing rinse water, but sometimes i fill the watering can from the tap. Sometimes it's hard for me to step out the front door, because of the heat.
