My Anam Cara, Bill, and I had a beautiful Yule ritual on 12/21. This is from a Wiccan ritual written by the late Scott Cunningham and I just love this first part: I sorrow not, though the world is wrapped in sleep. I sorrow not, though the icy winds blast. I sorrow not, though the snow falls hard and deep. I sorrow not; this too shall soon be past. This has been a sorrowful and angry year for me, but these words lifted my spirits like nothing else has and I resolve to live my life by them. What's the point in being so negative? For 2011, I promise to be good to myself and to think good of myself so that I can do both for others.
I Sorrow Not!
