I can't go with you on shoe boots (assuming I know what you mean by that) but I like the rest. Well...I do like a headband on some people. If you do it right, it looks sort of 60s-inspired. (And we are excluding children from the headband rule, right?)
And, ya know...an open shirt, if it's a transitional state? ;) I'm a fan of unbuttoning but I guess unbuttoned and on the way to dinner, no.
In general, I'm super duper laissez-faire about fashion. But omg, the guages. They remind me of National Geographic. Not that there's anything wrong with that, Indigenous African People, you have a whole nother thing going. Rock on. I just don't like looking at a stretched out earlobe. Yes, that includes you, Lambert.
And agreed on the high heels, especially with platforms an especially on teeny tiny women. They look like they're playing dress-up.
I am five foot nothing, so I am always terrified about things making the leg look short - for years I refused to wear skinny jeans for fear of the stumpifyingness (Frack finally convinced me to try, and it does seem I will agree to wear them under controlled circumstances, i.e. with a longer, tunic-y top, where Lindsay Lohan would wear leggings, or like, nothing).
BUT, when I was younger I have been able to make shoe boots work in the winter months with a short skirt and opaque tights the same color as the boots and a stacked heel. Now I am older, I am considering revisiting this style for fall, simply because ankle boots will less easily fall off my damn feet.
Also people should never tuck the bottoms of their pants into their shoe boots unless they want it to be Hammer Time. (See your comments on jeggings etc etc.)
Mmm, I think they've definitely gotten bigger since he got them. I noticed a small jump in size at one point a short while back. But if they're stopping there, that's great with me.
It's hard to tell. Maybe they're just a little wider on the surface? Maybe?
I hope so.
I have a kid in one of my classes who has pretty big gauges (big enough for him to poke his finger through) and I can barely look at him. It really is disturbing.
