Briony leaned back in the library chair, stretching slightly. After two days, she still wasn't able to understand the concepts in the book she'd randomly picked off of the shelves, and highly doubted that a third reading would change that.
Instead, she watched the other students out of the corners of her eyes. It was better than pretending to be busy in the common room, if only because there were more people around. Plus, the chances of anyone knowing who she was beyond her robes was good, as that would keep most from trying to chat with her.
