Firstly, thank you so much to
cutting_rm_flr and
scullyseviltwin for the X-Mas goodness. Mallory and I loved the pressies. And late gifts don't bother me. As far as I am concerned, you extended our X-Mas season by a month, and you are both made of awesome!
I must also extend a hearty "Thanks!" to
ligaras for my virtual penguin. I have named him JP, and I promise I am taking good

I get the minimalist thing. Clean lines are our friends. I am the type of person who always starts off with that intention...clean, neat (I love the Arts and Crafts era), but I always find "stuff" to add. LOL

And yay for posting! How wonderful would it be to hear from you more? You are such an amazing and delightful person.

Stop it you. Don't make me fire off my comprehensive list of positive adjectives that would apply to you. In fact, the only reason I have been quiet for so long is that I have been writing a book called, "Complimentary Adjectives to Describe the Wonderful, Superlative Ming". It's a best seller in the making I tell you. It has Pulitzer written all over it. So there!
And get that sticker on your car. It needs love too. A little sticker bling is just the thing. :D
And just so you know, you are getting my mostest special icon. LOL

Hubby does have an old 92 honda accord named Rudy and it's full of stickers from all the places we've visited.

Walking is good. Riding is good. Not everyone needs to drive. :D
I am diggin' the fact that (a) your hub's car has a name (my daughter christened mine "Fabio") and that (2) it is plastered with evidence of your travels and experiences!
Did you know that you are entertaining your fellow travelers? Personally? I LOVE it when I am trapped at a stop light...and I have been blessed with a fun (and decorated) car ahead of me. I read each and every sticker!
Yeah! You rule! :P

I have this whole irrational fear of driving, it's getting old really. I need to do something before I have kids and have to send them to soccer practice in a cab.
We love the cheesy stickers, it suits us.;)

As far as the driving thing goes...no judgement. I only wish to encourage you to conquer your fear and to capture a bit of freedom.
Have you seen the movie "Mermaids" with Winona Ryder, Cher, Bob Hoskins, and Christina Ricci? The one thing from that B-Movie that always resonated with me was how Cher's character, Mrs. Flax, equated driving (and her car) with freedom.
However...I have recently come to realize that there is also something to be said for being content exactly where you are.
Damn. Your comment has left me a bit confuzzled. And challenged! And I like it.
LOL
Edited a few times...to get it right!

So...on my red 2003 Ford 'Exploder' you may find:
-Hanging from mirror I have of those 'string-a-pearl' animals in the Gilbert tuxedo kitty variant (I put it together during a day at the beach last summer and felt bad leaving him at home).
-The left rear side window (in the way back) has an arrangement of three small plain decals of a jumping horse, a dressage horse and a Hanoverian horse breed symbol.
-On my blackish rear window I have a black 'The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be measured by the way in which its animals are treated. - Mahatma Gandhi' sticker and a 'Dressage in Wonderful Las Vegas, Nevada' equestrian world cup sticker from 2005 - I go to the world cup finals there every other year!
*And here on my laptop I have a helpful Brassy-kitty :P

Secondly...do you like horses or something?! I must have missed that!
Thirdly, I LOVE the color red. A sorta joke in our family is that "Red brings good chi.". The reason I say "sorta joke" is that I think we all believe it!
Fourthy...Gibert Kitty rocks my socks, and I should probably trade my little Cubs hat for a Gilbert inspired ornament.
Finally, I completely and totally agree with the Mahatma Gandhi sticker. I may have to search the world wide web for that one!
And finally finally...thank you SO much for responding! Have a most splendid weekend.

The only reason I asked was curiosity. For me, it is fun to check out other vehicles and figure out why they are covered in what they are covered in. It's a little puzzle! And I'm nosey!
Your front license cover is a prime example. Now, as a fellow driver, I know that you go/went to Lafayette College or Penn State. :D
I now know that you is smart! LOL
Thanks for responding!

The license cover is Lafayette.
