Kittens and puppies

Animal Control came today about the rooster the Downstairs Neighbors had tied up in the backyard. I guess it was okay that they had it, just not okay that they had it tied to a tree. Their dog was also tied up, as usual. Supposedly it is illegal to keep roosters, dogs, or any other animal restrained for extended amounts of time in San Francisco. They got fined. I hope the rooster didn't end up being dinner. It was really cute for being so obnoxious.

My life is very uncomplicated right now, and I am thankful.
