I love your Sanity Updates. As much as I love the actual story, the updates are always quite amusing to read.

And I love the backstory you gave for the Sam/Emily/Leah triangle. I mean, I hated listening about Carlisle's past because I thought it was a bit of a waste. Jasper's and Rosalie's were a bit more interesting, but I don't think anyone actually like Carlisle to begin with. However, your backstory actually makes sense. There is no creepy vampire trainers or getting raped in the street. It is logical and plausible. Hurray for you :) <3

Heh. Glad my slow descent into madness seems to amuse everyone ;) (Which is, of course, why I include it.)

Yeah, I have to agree, Rosalie and Jasper were more interesting than Carlisle... but that doesn't say much at all. Bah. Glad you liked the triangle a bit more :)

Jared. You weren't nice. You yelled at Bella. You will be killed off immediately. *Sighs* No, kidding. If this was truly Meyer's world, you would have bowed and kissed Bella's feet while Edward moped in the background while creepily searching his mind for any impure thought. But aaw, Jared and Bella moments. I'm starting to like moments like that.

"No," Emily said sharply. I noticed she was tracing her pinky around the edge of her cup, the one with the missing end. "I would never have done anything. Even if their relationship had ended, Sam was completely off limits. I knew that." She swallowed. "But then... Leah started calling me. She said Sam had changed, that he was disappearing all the time, that he had this temper all of the sudden and wouldn't talk to her about what was wrong, that nothing she did seemed to help. She would yell about it, and sometimes she would cry ( ... )

Haha Sher, love your way with words!
The woman who thinks suicide is love. In a nutshell.
...through the form of good ol' fashion fucking. THAT'S how THAT happens. #win

"No 'regrets' because it was what was NATURAL and SUPPOSE to happen. Fuck her. Fuck her writing. Fuck her lack of writing a damn proper follow-through secondary storyline that doesn't include EB glazing into each other's eyes after they have discussed her not being a vamp for the thousandth time. "

Sometimes, after being confronted for the umpteenth time with her, 'oh, it was meant to be- Bella deserved her happy ending!' I realise Meyer is an embarrassingly childish writer.

Jared. You weren't nice. You yelled at Bella. You will be killed off immediately.

LOL. Only writing in Meyer-voice... not Meyer herself ;) Thank God for that. Sometimes that means Bella has to take a smackdown or two...

Fuck her. Fuck her writing. Fuck her lack of writing a damn proper follow-through secondary storyline that doesn't include EB glazing into each other's eyes after they have discussed her not being a vamp for the thousandth time.

This.

*Sighs* You know this is so unbelievably canon with a twist of Audrey. I approve.

Is that like a drink? That sounds like a drink. (And your approval is worth quite a lot, darlin'!)

*snorts* Is this where I sign up and you are my drill sergeant, Ems? No, I kid. I kid.

LOL. Probably better food with her than in boot camp.

Because those sparklepires are the best things that ever happened. All of this is according to Meyer. The woman who thinks suicide is love. The woman who thinks vampires can now impregnate humans through the form of good ol' fashion fucking. THAT'S how THAT ( ... )

Oh my God! I forgot today was Saturday! I KNEW there was something good going to happen today - Movement of the Earth, that's what!
This was the most awesomest-est chapter ever! I LOVE what you did with Emily and Sam and explaining the imprint. And you didn't try to get scientific or pretend you were a rocket scientist, just used common sense and that amazing imagination of yours and it was EPIC! I never found Emily that interesting in the books, was never interested in knowing more about her like I was with Sam (poor guy all alone to deal with this werewolf/imprint bullshit - fuck Midnight Sun, THAT is the story SM shouldn't have focused on post BD), but you've really fleshed her out and given her personality and viability.
Only thing I missed in this was Jacob. He is my personal addiction and I NEED him. Please promise me he will be in Chapter 11. Please? *bats eyelashes*
You are the rock star of J/B fanfic!!

LOL. Saturdays are generally good things regardless ;)

Thanks :) Trying to apply common sense to Meyer-verse... um... takes beer.

Uh... *looks at the ceiling and whistles*

The Charlie/Bella moment was sweet.

I loved the Jared/Kim part, and I like how you just gave Kim more character in that scene (where she wasn't even present) then most wolves got in canon. I think I'm gonna like brainiac!Kim.

Thank you for the Sam/Leah/Emily backstory. It was both way more entertaining than all those “let's listen to a Cullen drone on and on” chapters and quite informative of imprinting. Bravo. And I agree with Emily's theory.

That cliffhanger is mean!! I want to know what' going on!!!!!! I like Sam, I don't want him to be hurt.

Was a bit disappointed about the lack of Jacob in this chapter, but oh well, absence makes the heart grow fonder.

I sympathize with your sanity update: I have no idea why Meyer's editors damn them straight to hell, if they actually exist didn't scrap the Cullen chapters. In addition to boring the pants off of me, they were historically inaccurate. Rosalie's family was well off during the Depression because her father was a banker? Bitch please, he would have been one of the first ones to ( ... )

Carlisle didn't know what year he was born or died in?

Yeah, but for some reason Rosalie can remember EXACTLY what happened before she turned, and how she felt in every single detail. Fail.

This sort of makes me thankful that Meyer denied the wolves and the humans actual backstories, because she would have undoubtedly fucked it all up. YAY for fanon, 'cause it's so much cooler!!

Yeah, totally true!

When people ask about my Twilight obssesion, I always say: "I'm actually obsessed with the fanfiction, the books disappoint me to no end."
