l;fasdjfldsj The first and third drabbles were amazing!

Bella has proven time and time again in canon that no matter how crappily people treat her once she's loyal to you she's always loyal. I'm so relieved that Leah apologized.

And it was so sweet that she admitted that she missed her. The most I was hoping for was as mumbled apology >.<

But poor Jake. Even after all those years of not being around Bella just one day can make him mope around like nobody's business. I love him dearly but he can't base his entire happiness off of one person. It's not healthy.

And finally! I was wondering about the Evanescence quote on your twitter yesterday. It was an amazing line in the context.

Also the Billy and Embry thing was so awkward. Does Embry even know why Billy was asking those questions?

LOL. Yeah, Leah sucked it up. And given that Bella's pretty aware that she fucked up badly too, she... well, it probably wasn't insta-forgiveness, but lemonade is good for talking.

Jake's doing okay. This was only about thirty-six hours after his big fight with Bella, and that's a lot of years of pain to have coming to the surface. Also -- and I realized this as I was writing it -- the fact that Jacob gets moody in this AU might actually be a sign that he's a little healthier than in canon. Because Billy's not in a wheelchair and his sisters haven't run off, Jacob's not carrying the full responsibility of the family. This means that sometimes he gets to be selfish and indulge in a sulk. Everyone needs that from time to time.

...I quoted Evanescence?

Nah, Embry doesn't know why. Billy respected Tiffany's request to let it lie, but he's still, you know, carrying around all the messy feelings from it. Luckily Embry's turning out fine anyway, just like in canon. (Especially given that he doesn't have the wolf stuff forcing it to the

It's kind of cute how Bella tries to solve her problems by inviting people over for food/refreshments. Too bad it didn't work for her and Jacob. She needs a better plan there.

It's okay for Jake to get upset. Of course it's okay and healthy. I was just worried about whether or not he's as dependent as he was on Bella in the books. I guess that was probably from having to carry so much responsibility then. I'm actually a little confused about how Billy managed to avoid the wheelchair actually. I mean, he refused to go to the hospital in Forks right? Or did I miss something...

Well, the quote about Evanescence. The whole man card thing. I'm pretty sure you put the line on twitter yesterday. Otherwise I made it up and crazy/psychic.

Yeah, that's why I was wondering about Embry. I wasn't sure when exactly that insecurity showed up and whether or not it was because of the wolf thing.

Yeah, no, I can see being worried about whether he's still overdependent the way he was when they were kids. We haven't seen his POV so it's sort of hard to tell. Jake is a lot moodier in this AU than I expected him to be, but it's sort of how things just shook out. Who knew?

Yeah, Billy was avoiding the hospital, but the Cullens left way earlier than in canon. Where did I... ah. Here's the timeline explanation.Aaah. Yeah, I did lyrics quoting on trigger, but I think it was just Death Cab For Cutie and She Wants Revenge. I kinda wanted Jacob to be listening to Soul Meets Body (just to really drive home the teenage boy sulk) but it hadn't been released by December 2004. Foiled ( ... )

You picked just the right time to go with simplicity. Leah'd be terrible at a flowery apology. Lol! I adored the interaction between Harry and his fuzzyduck. ;) Very sweet. The backstory you've made for Harry and Sue deserves it's own fic. Lol!

Glad you liked :) I love writing Harry and Sue. Maybe one day I'll do a little companion "Five Times" story for them or something.

The Clearwaters are awesome, love how you actually developed them. Also love the Leah/Bella friendship thing :]

Mmmk. Leah is back in my good graces again. Now I'm just waiting for Jacob to get his act together.

"I can't help but notice these philosophical treatises come in handy when you're trying to excuse your behavior."
"That's why philosophers write them in the first place."

*snort*

When it comes to Bella Swan, no one can mope like Jacob Black.

Oh Lord, ain't that the truth. (Well, except for Eddie C, who tried to commit sparklecide, but that's beside the point.)

Love these!

Glad you've made up with Leah :D

Eddie definitely outmopes Jacob, this is true. Jacob's not-quite-fifteen and is dealing with five years of misconception. Eddie... is just a fucked up dead dude.

*eyeroll* Eddie is a fucked up dead dude - sorta like Doctor Who likes to try and solve the problems of the universe. According to Hamish and Andy (radio comedians here in Australia) he also uses miniature scaffolding to hold up his hair.
I still can't figure out why, if Eddie was so keen to join his Juliet in death, he didn't go to her fucking grave to say goodbye, then just stroll across the treaty line and wait ( ... )

Aww, don't compare Edward to the Doctor. Edward doesn't do a damn thing to help others. The Doctor tries and... uh... often screws up.

If I were Bella and Edward had a TARDIS to offer me, I'd rethink kicking him to the curb.

I still can't figure out why, if Eddie was so keen to join his Juliet in death, he didn't go to her fucking grave to say goodbye, then just stroll across the treaty line and wait.
Because... um... because... Hey! Look over there! Italy!

her mid-life crisis.
Quarter-life crisis. She started writing these in her late twenties, IIRC. Of course, I'm in my late twenties and know better, so there's no excuse. *shaking my head*

Harry is kinda awesome. Glad you're liking him ;)
