had an up and down weekend. thursday was a happy hour at science club with adrian, and the great bartenders keenan and james. friday was checking out indulj, and meeting up with dino joe at dc9 (pete, lisa and liz joined me). that turned out to be pretty lackluster, so i peaced out around midnight (i can only watch everyone around me hook up for so long before i have to give up). went back to science club for shots with atian at solly's, and with keenan at science club. there keenen introduced me to his friend james, and i had great conversations, which perked my night up until mike came and collected my tipsy ass.
i stayed home on saturday and watched movies with jason and pete. it was great and relaxing.
i wish my students would stop canceling lessons. that would make my time a little more worthwhile.
so, sunday i met up with danielle and went with her to her friends condo in rosslyn to watch the superbowl. i was rooting for pittsburgh, and as far as i can tell, teams will only win when i root for them if they're NOT the eagles. it was a great game, and my fav commercial was flowers in a box. stayed out in va for the night, as long as i was out there and had to return my rental car in rosslyn the next day anyway. which is how i spent most of my monday (returning my car, making my way back to dc, despite metro snafus), and then meeting with matt, and then trivia at wonderland with sarah, ashley and sarah's brother (who is moving to barcelona! jealous!)
i am feeling so lazy today. and discontent. yeah.
