river tubed on saturday with erin and brock out in west virginia. it was FANTASTIC. sponsored by couchsurfing. makes me love it even more.
had a great dinner at princes afterwards, and met up at madams organ for celeste's birthday party. had to leave uber early because i was proctoring in bethesda sunday morning.
teaching a jr. discovery summer course. it's stupid easy (which is good, because they're esl students), but it takes almost an hour to get there (waterfront to rosslyn to georgetown), then an hour to get to work (either georgetown to rosslyn to dupont, or georgetown to au to dupont). work at tpr for however many hours i can eke out, and then either metro up to bethesda for a tutoring session, or metro BACK out to rosslyn for a gre class.
hopefully that paycheck will make it worthwhile.
also, capitalone is trying to rape me. i am SO cancelling that card.
and my phone randomly lights up. not because i've touched it, or because i'm receiving any text/phone call/email. just sort of lights up then goes back to sleep.
weird.
things with schmitty have been calm. we'll see if the weekend in Long Island/NYC doesn't break that streak. it was nice to have an argument free weekend (and to not have him stay out till 5 frickin' am every night this week).
also, dc's planned parenthood is really trying to fuck me over, too.
let's just hope they don't succeed, yes?
