Saige Elizabeth

My niece, Saige Elizabeth, was born on Sept 13 2007 at 7:01pm. She weighed 7lbs 8oz and was 20.5" long. Mommy and baby are healthy, and oldest sister Alyssa is THRILLED to have a new baby sister.
All daddy's concerned are habitating copasetically, and showering love on Lyss, Des and Saige.

I am just beyond giddy. the second I get pictures you can bet they will be everywhere.

in other news yesterday was my dad's birthday, too. he turned 51. to celebrate his birthday, he went and filled in all the necessary paperwork to retire next spring. YAY! no more UPS! then he and gramma spent the day shopping for new gas fireplace for gramma, and floor treatments for the wood burning fireplace daddy will be taking on. i don't think he could have been happier if he tried.

i had a great time at work last night, which isn't suprising considering i talked with jo and jenjen, and then i got a new niece! we had a super full night of events and when i left at three (you can tell it's a good night when the early 'tender leaves at 3!) tips were over $500 (which will be divided by 2.5, but still, it's at least $200). I know some might poopoo that, but that's an hourly wage of $22 a least :)

i went to the gym after work last night (because i'd been drinking redbull all night), and had a really good workout. I need to work on my balance, but my handstands are getting better, and i'm almost able to do a front handspring again. the walkovers are still a million miles away, but the splits are almost like they were when i was a cheerleader.
*for those of you who don't know, my goal is to be as fit as i was when i was 15, and doing track, cheerleading and judo competatively. i was at my most limber and muscular. i'm never going to be skinny, but i can at least look good in a pair of shorts or a leotard. plus....i like being limber...it's useful.

oh! last night i won a boy in a raffle. not sure what i'm going to do with him. either hook him up with a single friend or make him buy me drinks and then not get any.

should go be useful now. jenna woke me up at 12, which was sort of bad because i hadn't gotten home until 5:30, but it's still better than 9am. and it was for a good purpose, because she can help me keep my insurance down if she just adds me to her policy. going to have a car soon, which is exciting.

jenna, work, moving, money, gym, raffle, midway, daddy, saige
